Item details

In the chrysanthemum family, there are not many new varieties with epiphytic hairs or thorns on the petals. This variety has dense epiphyseal hairs on the petals and bright colors. It is an extremely rare and precious chrysanthemum, and it is a good product in the variety exhibition. It has medium growth potential, moderate fertilization, and is suitable for cultivation of single or multiple chrysanthemums.

How to plant

1. Choose loose and breathable soil (usually fine-grained peat soil or leaf humus soil), and put it into flower pots or seeding trays.

2. Water the soil thoroughly. It is best to use water that has the effect of sterilization and disinfection. Sprinkle the seeds evenly on the soil layer.

3. There is no need to cover the fine-grained seeds with soil when sowing, but the soil moisture must be ensured. You can use a fine-eyed watering can to sprinkle water to moisturize. If the water is too large or watered too hard, the seeds will be washed away or washed deep into the soil, making it difficult for the small seeds to top the soil. germinate; large seeds need to be covered with soil, and the thickness of the covering soil is 2-3 times the diameter of the seed. After sowing

4. The suitable temperature for germination of most seeds is 20-25°C. If the temperature requirements are not met, you can cover it with plastic wrap, cover it with glass, etc. to keep it warm and moisturized.

5. After germination, the seeds covered with plastic wrap should be opened at a corner for ventilation. When they grow to 2-3 leaves, the film can be completely removed, so that the seedlings can gradually receive scattered light. Be careful not to expose them to the sun.

6. Wait until the seedlings grow to 5-6 leaves before transplanting. It is recommended to choose cuttings, divisions, grafting, tissue culture and other methods for propagation.
