Canary Creeper Yellow
Look no further than this Canary Creeper if you're looking for a beautiful, lemon-yellow flowered climbing plant that will add some brightness to your garden. This frost-tender perennial is easy to care for and will make any space feel more lively.
The Canary Creeper gets its name from the similarity of its yellow petals to a canary's wings. Although it's technically part of the Nasturtium family, you might notice that its leaves don't share the same shape as other varieties of Nasturtium. This visual discrepancy doesn't make them any less elegant, however.
Canary Creeper Yellow is a Nasturtium variety that grows long, trailing vines. These plants can extend anywhere from 2.5 to 3.5 meters and grow optimally when near a fence or trellis for support. In addition, you can use them to liven up railings and pillars on balconies and porches.
The Canary Creeper Nasturtium proliferates and reaches a deep root system by the end of its first year. However, during winter, these plants are susceptible to low temperatures; however, their leaves will grow back come spring. You likely won't see any blooms until the plant's second year, but as seed pods fall, they help create new growth for the next season.
